Husband Arrested in Fatal Domestic Violence Shooting Outside Round Rock

Williamson County, TX — October 12, 2025 Authorities in Williamson County have arrested a 65-year-old man, Ekong Ikpe, in connection with a fatal domestic violence shooting that occurred Sunday morning outside the city limits of Round Rock. Deputies and first responders were dispatched around 9:00 a.m. to the 5000 block of Parma Lane following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a 43-year-old woman, Tariro Ikpe, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical aid and transport to a local hospital, the victim succumbed to her injuries. Detectives identified the victim’s husband as the shooter. He was taken into custody and booked into the Williamson County Jail on charges of murder. The investigation remains ongoing.
